The Guardian reported that the family of Milly Dowler, the murdered teenager whose phone News of the World hacked, may pursue charges against News Corp. in the U.S. over the hacking.

According to the Guardian, Dowler’s family lawyer wants to look into filing “a class action against News Corp using American foreign corruption laws, which make it illegal for US companies to pay bribes to government officials abroad.”
