The UK Sun’s May 2 headline “Bwing on the Euwos” prompted “more than 100 complaints,” Journalism.co.uk reported.

The headline, which accompanied a story about Roy Hodgson, mocked his “manner of speech.” The Guardian explained that Hodgson has a “speech impediment.”  Hodgson was named the new “Manager of the Three Lions” in England.

The Football Association issued a statement about the headline, which it called “in poor taste and disrepectful.”
