MSNBC’s Chris Hayes apologized May 28 for his May 27 comments about calling soldiers “heroes,” the Associated Press reported.
He had said, according to the Huffington Post, that he is “uncomfortable” using the word “hero” for “the war dead and the fallen”
In a blog post, he addressed his comments, writing ” I don’t think I lived up to the standards of rigor, respect and empathy for those affected by the issues we discuss that I’ve set for myself. I am deeply sorry for that.”
