The Nelson Leader published a “clarification and apology” for a “reader’s letter” containing errors about a woman’s work “remuneration,” which was described as “big bucks,” the UK Press Complaints Commission reported.

The Nelson Leader is a weekly local newspaper in the U.K., according to Mondo Times.

The woman complained to the PCC about the error.  The newspaper “denied that the letter” could have invaded her privacy, but ran the note to let readers know “the reference” to her remuneration was factually incorrect.”
