The BBC apologized to a government council for its report later determined to be biased, Journalism.co.uk reported.

The February BBC segment reported on Basildon council’s “Dale Farm evictions” and suggested ” that the council had failed in its statutory obligations to house or help relocate the travellers facing eviction,” according to the BBC Trust, which considered the council’s complaint.

The council argued that the program was “inaccurate, misleading and biased” but the Trust only agreed that it was biased, according to Journalism.co.uk.
