The Bhutan Media Foundation is hosting “10 journalism training programmes in October and November” for “more than 200 participants,” according to the Bhutan Observer.
Sessions include training on photojournalism, investigative journalism and media ethics.
The Bhutan Media Foundation is a two-year-old group “established through a Royal Charter” by Bhutan’s king. According to its website, the group “is expected to support the media in enhancing skills through scholarships, internships and training, strengthening media executive management and leadership skill.”

The Bhutan Media Foundation also held a “basic journalism” workshop in July that trained more than 100 Bhutan journalists on ethics.
