News Corp-owned the Times of London apologized Feb. 7 because one of its reporters hacked the e-mail of police detective and blogger Richard Horton in 2009 for a story, as we wrote. The Times then identified Horton as the anonymous blogger Nightjack.
The Telegraph noted that Horton “instructed Mark Lewis, the lawyer representing phone hacking victims, to claim damages from” the Times.
Horton is suing the Times of London, the Guardian reported.
