‘Blurred Lines’ Ethics Program in India?

The U.S. State Department wants to set up media ethics course for journalists in India, the Weekly Standard reported.

The program is titled “Blurred Lines: A Media Ethics Course for Indian Journalists.” The State Department is currently looking for people to submit proposals for the course.

The U.S. consulate general in Hyderabad, India wants the course, according to the Weekly Standard. The goals of the course include providing journalists with a “baseline understanding of the international industry standards,” and “accuracy, honesty, transparency, impartiality, and accountability.”
