The executive editor of California newspaper The Hanford Sentinel told the newspaper’s Facebook fans that it will delete anyone who posts negative comments about the newspaper, Jim Romenesko reported.

“Just because we’re a news media outlet, doesn’t mean we can be insulted on our own page,” she wrote.  She also provided her email for any “questions or concerns.”

In a follow-up comment, the newspaper wrote that “‘constructive criticism’ is appreciated, not destructive comments.”
