CBS News president David Rhodes e-mailed CBS’s The Early Show to question its news judgment for its April 18 program.

According to Rhodes’ e-mail, from which comments were republished by the New York Post, called the show “bad” because the morning program didn’t cover CBS News’ weekend news reporting, such as the fabrication allegations against Greg Mortenson and comments by Paul Allen about Bill Gates.

“We broke major news,” Rhodes reportedly wrote.  “Let’s get with it. Where’s our reporting? Make sure it’s in our show.”
