Colorado Judge freezes 35 Righthaven lawsuits against Bloggers

According to Wired.com, a Colorado judge “froze” 35 lawsuits filed by copyright-enforcement agency Righthaven as he looks into Righthaven’s ability to file these suits on behalf of the Denver Post.

Attorneys defending bloggers accused of violating the Post’s copyright have claimed the Righthaven lawsuits aren’t OK and Righthaven shouldn’t be able to sue.

The Las Vegas Sun reported that Righthaven has filed 274 lawsuits over Denver Post and Las Vegas Review-Journal content. Read more here.
