1. The schism after Muhammad’s death:

An April 18 New York Times correction:

“Because of an editing error, a review on April 5 about ‘A History of Islam in 21 Women,’ by Hossein Kamaly, referred incorrectly to the schism that occurred after the death of Muhammad. It was the Shiites, not the Sunnis, who supported Muhammad’s daughter Fatima and her husband, Ali; the Sunnis did not believe that Fatima ‘should inherit leadership of the faith.'”

2. How many people in Wyoming v. California?

An April 18 New York Times correction:

“Because of an editing error, a letter to the editor on April 5 about voter representation in the United States Senate misstated the relative populations of California and Wyoming. California has more than 65 times as many people as Wyoming, not ‘almost four’ times as many.”

3. Meghan Markle photos:

An April 20 BBC correction for a Jan. 2020 report:

“During the newspaper review, our guest Phil Hall questioned whether or not the Duchess of Sussex wanted ‘a quiet life’ by referring to a photograph of her in the Daily Telegraph that he said had been taken the previous day. It was in fact taken in 2016.”

4. An April 16 NPR correction:

“A previous version of this story incorrectly identified Rep. Joe Cunningham of South Carolina as a Republican. He is a Democrat.”
