Three men are being held in custody in relation to an attempted terrorist plot against Danish newspaper, Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty reported. One person, “an Iraqi asylum seeker,” was let go.
According to Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty, the men “were arrested on December 29 for allegedly plotting what Danish police called plan to ‘kill as many people as possible’ at the offices of Jyllands–Posten newspaper.
The newspaper controversially published “a series of cartoons picturing the Prophet Muhammad” five years ago, and “since, the newspaper and its employees have been the targets of many threats,” Ice News reported.
