Even MORE Phone Hacking Allegations?

The Guardian reported that there’s a possibility that a total of six Mail on Sunday and Daily Mail journalists may have had their phone messages hacked by the News of the World’s private investigator Glenn Mulcaire.  Police reportedly will be contacting the journalists to let them know of the alleged phone hacking.

As The Guardian explained:

“The fact that journalists from rival titles…are being warned by the Met they were being targeted by Mulcaire signals that Operation Weeting, the Met’s phone hacking investigation which began in January, is about to enter a dramatic phase.”

As iMediaEthics reported, Dennis Rice, a former editor at Mail on Sunday accused News of the World of hacking his phone and filed a lawsuit against the newspaper last month.
