The Center for International Media Ethics (CIME) and the Bhutan Media Institute are hosting forum in Thimphu, Bhutan April 18-April 19, according to an announcement on its website.
The event will include speakers on “the global reach of journalism and ethics” and “combining ethical journalism and Bhutanese culture” among other things.
The forum will also include two panel discussions: “Emerging Ethical Issues in Bhutan and Beyond” and “Ethics and Economics, Ethical Profitability.”
On April 19, there will be “journalism ethics training” for twenty journalists by Teresa Allen, a U.S. journalism professor and a “trainer” for CIME, which is based in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
