FELLOWSHIPS: ‘Journalism in the Digital World’ Program by Intl Academy of Journalism, Includes Media Ethics Instruction

The International Academy of Journalism is accepting applications for its “Journalism in the Digital World” fellowship program until May 7, My Joy Online reported. The academy “develops and organizes professional training for journalists from around the world,” according to its website.

The fellowships include instruction on  “media ethics,” according to My Joy Online.

The fellowship starts in September and lasts ten months.  Last year was the first year for the program and had fellows from “Armenia, China, Egypt, Ghana, Liberia, Moldova, Nepal, Nicaragua, Syria, Thailand, Ukraine and Zimbabwe,” according to My Joy Online.  The “program is aimed at journalists from countries where press freedom is restricted or threatened,” My Joy Online noted.
