Bernard Arnault claims that French newspaper Liberation‘s headline calling him “rich jerk” is “public insult,” “vulgar and violent,” the Guardian reported.
Arnault, whom the Guardian identified as “France’s richest man” and the “head of the LVMH luxury group,” filed a Sept. 10 lawsuit.
Reuters explained the headline was related over Arnault’s “decision to seek Belgian nationality” around the same time France’s president “gave details of a 2013 budget that includes a 75 percent supertax on top earners.”
