The Guardian’s readers’ editor associate editor Leslie Plommer announced the Guardian has created “a new web page — entitled accuracy and standards” which will host the news outlet’s guidelines and standards for addressing corrections and errors.
The page (see here) currently hosts a list of the “latest corrections and clarifications,” the Guardian’s readers’ editor Chris Elliott’s column, the Observer’s readers’ editor Stephen Pritchard, information on what the readers’ editor is, the Guardian’s editorial guidelines, the Guardian’s style guide, and more.
Currently, the Guardian appends corrections and clarifications “on the web pages concerned, where a footnote is also added explaining what has been amended,” according to Plommer.
