iMediaEthics is thrilled to report that our polling director, David Moore, was just been awarded an EPPY from Editor & Publisher for Best News/Political Blog for a site receiving less than 1 million unique monthly visitors.

Moore writes about polling standards and analyzes media polls for iMediaEthics. All of his writing can be found in iMediaEthics’ Polling Center.

He is a former vice president with Gallup, and co-wrote, with the University of New Hampshire’s Andrew Smith, the recently published book The First Primary.

“We are honored by David’s help and commitment to illuminating the high level ethical standards so needed in media polling,” Rhonda Roland Shearer, iMediaEthics’ editor-in-chief and publisher said. “And David’s humor makes even math phobics able to grasp his polling mechanics know-how and critiques.”

iMediaEthics was a finalist for EPPY awards in two other categories this year: Best News or Event Feature with under 1 million unique monthly visitors and Best Overall Website Design with under 1 million unique monthly visitors.

The winners were the Chattanooga Free Press“Live coverage of Chattanooga military attacks” and RT Doc, respectively.

Congratulations to all of the winners!
