Media Bistro’s Web Newser reported that MSNBC was sued by a photo agency on Nov. 19 for publishing a copyrighted photograph of actress Penelope Cruz without permission.
The picture was of Cruz “strolling on the beach” and reportedly “revealed Cruz was pregnant.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, celebrity photo agency Matrix Photo filed the lawsuit over the Penelope Cruz pregnant photo. The MSNBC story which originally featured the photo is here, but as the Hollywood Reporter noted, “the most prominent photo on the page” is not of Cruz.
