Splash News and Photo Agency Apologizes, Pays for Invading Privacy

Splash, UK “news and photo agency” apologized to actor David Walliams and model Lara Stone, Journalism.co.uk reported.  The married couple had filed a lawsuit for “harassment and invasion of privacy damages” after the agency published photos of the two.

Splash’s apology states that “In April 2011, photographers pursued David Walliams and Lara Stone while they spent the day together in London.”  Splash noted it paid both legal fees and a sum for damages.
