Copyright Company Righthaven Being Sued by Process Server?

2011 ended with more trouble for Righthaven, the copyright company that has been suing on behalf of the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s copyright since early 2010.  (As we wrote, Righthaven sued on behalf of the Denver Post’s copyright from late 2010 until September, when the Denver Post announced it wouldn’t renew its contract with the company.)

According to Vegas Inc, Righthaven’s process server filed a lawsuit against the company.  The company, Legal Wings Inc., is calling for Righthaven to pay almost $6,000.

The attorneys for Wayne Hoehn, who Righthaven owes nearly $64,000, (read about his case here) called for the court to hold Righthaven “in contempt for failing to produce the required financial information” about the company’s assets.
