Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder hasn’t been interviewed for radio since the week of the Super Bowl . But, stories circulated about a recent radio interview in which Snyder reportedly commented about a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Washington Post reported.

The alleged interview circulated to various sports sites, but the interview never happened.  According to the Washington Post, Sirius radio and the Washington Redskins both claim Snyder hasn’t been interviewed on Sirius recently.

Sports Illustrated, for example, wrote about Snyder’s alleged comments on Sirius, but later retracted them.  Jim Wexell, who seems to be the first person to comment on the alleged interview, tweeted later to apologize for spreading the fake news.
