Star magazine published a front-page apology after Katie Holmes filed a $50 million lawsuit over a story about her, MediaBistro reported.

The Jan. 20 issue of Star “equated her fondness for Church of Scientology e-meter treatments to a serious drug addiction.”

Star also donated to a Holmes-backed foundation called Dizzy Feet, which “helps underprivileged children pay for dance classes.”
