Toronto Star public editor Kathy English posted her annual “You be the editor survey” this past weekend. In the survey, English asks readers to tell her how they would handle some of the Star’s newsroom issues from 2011. For example, English asks readers how they would handle editorials after the Tuscon, Ariz. shootings and a photo of kittens post-surgery.
English notes that she plans to write about the survey’s results next week.
We wrote in January about English’s 2010 survey, which asked readers if they would have published a photo of a “convicted ‘sadosexual serial killer'” in lingerie and what they thought of certain headlines.
