Channel 4 miscaptioned a video of UK prime minister Boris Johnson. The error was noteworthy because Johnson said, “I’m in favour of having people of talent come to this country, but I think we should have it democratically controlled.” The miscaptioning told readers that he said “people of colour” rather than “people of colour.”

In a Dec. 6 tweet, the Channel 4 News account apologized. “Boris Johnson says ‘people of talent’ not ‘people of colour,'” Channel 4 tweeted. “Our earlier tweet was a mistake. We misheard and we apologise.”
