The Guardian’s “Butterworth and Bowcott On Law Blog” compiled ten issues with the current draft libel reform bill for the UK.   The draft libel reform bill was proposed in March.

For example, the blog called for jury trials to be continued in libel cases and the issue of holding publishers responsible for reader comments.

The Guardian also noted that the current draft bill “would cause delays and increase costs.”  Read more here.
